Euro-area unemployment stagnated on an almost 12 years low
In line with market expectations, the euro area unemployment rate stagnated in January at a low of almost 12 years.
According to a report released Tuesday by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat), the unemployment rate in the 19 Member States of the euro area was 7.4 percent seasonally adjusted, the lowest since May 2008, just like in the previous three months. (MTI)
