The winners of the “Tesco for the Animals” contest will be given nearly 10 million HUF donations
The “Tesco for the Animals” contest, ended on 31 March 31. The contest aimed to spread knowledge and to raise the awareness of the pupils of primary schools to responsible animal husbandry.
The five winning organizations were selected by a professional jury, but the public decided about the distribution of the prizes. The nearly 10 million HUF donations were distributed on the basis of their votes they sent to Tesco's Facebook page.
3.443 million HUF was given to the Tököl-based Elek-Ágh Animal Shelter.
3.300 million HUF was given to the Tappancs Animal Rights Foundation
The Pomáz-based Animal Rights and Animal Aid Association can spend 1.264 million HUF on development.
The Tappancs Animal Home Foundation won 847 thousand HU, while the Animal Protection Association of Veszprém won 844 thousand HUF.
