Public procurement and competition law: the opening volume of the GVH’s new specialist book series was presented
Radical bleaching can be observed in the area of cleanliness of public procurement procedures and action against corruption – it was said at the professional conference of the Economic Competition Authority in Budapest. At the event, GVH presented the first volume of its new specialist book series, which covers the relationship between public procurement and competition law. Minister of Regional Development Tibor Navracsics, Balázs Csaba Rigó, president of the GVH and dr. László Kovács, also the president of the Public Procurement Authority.
On December 1, 2022, the Economic Competition Office presented the new “Competition Mirror Books” in the framework of a professional conference. the first volume of his specialist book series, entitled “Public procurement and competition law”. The event was opened by a presentation by Tibor Navracsics, Minister of Regional Development, followed by Balázs Csaba Rigó, President of the Economic Competition Authority and dr. László Kovács, the President of the Public Procurement Authority, presented the results achieved in the field of market competition and the purity of public procurement from the past period.
Tibor Navracsics emphasized in his opening lecture:
“We fulfilled all our commitments to Brussels on time and will continue to fulfill them in the future. Our aspiration is to become one of the cleanest states in the European Union in all aspects, also in terms of public procurement procedures.”
– underscored the Minister of Regional Development.
