Pork from Germany under mandatory control
Fazekas Sándor, Rural Development Minister ordered temporary restrictions in the distribution of fresh and frozen pork products arrived directly or indirectly from Germany, due to the German dioxin scandal, for the period lasts until the 28th of February 2011.
The laboratory studies have shown that dioxin contaminated egg, meat or meat products, have not arrived to Hungary. Despite this, the Rural Development Minister in accordance with the resolution of the Livestock and Meat Product Board (VHT) introduced more stringent controls– reports MTI.
