A Kosher slaughterhouse was handed over in Csengele
The slaughterhouse was inaugurated by the Israeli Chief Rabbi and the Minister of Agriculture. The plant will provide jobs to 260 people.
The new facility will primarily produce for export purposes, but of course it will also serve domestic demand. Development was co-financed by Eximbank.
Köves Slomó, the leading rabbi of EMIH greeted the guests, saying that this business unites the Jewish religious tradition of Kosherism with the culinary tradition of internationally recognized Hungarian goose liver production.
