The hero of our age

He is trying to lock out the world; the chef is cooking in his box with great enthusiasm and concentration. At almost the same time another contest is taking place at another place, chefs are competing there too – some say those chefs constitute the stronger half of Hungarian gastronomy. They do not have a chance to participate in the world’s most prestigious international contest. Our man wanted to participate in this contest: he prepared, borrowed a kitchen and equipment, worked hard and won the Hungarian final. After the announcement of the results he answers the questions of journalists, but in his eyes we can see the insecurity: What comes next? Does he think of the possibility of the two opposing sides in the trade making peace with each other? Could not chefs on both sides offer him their support? Alone or with the trade supporting him, our chef will have to represent Hungary in the next contest.
