The Budapest University of Economics, Faculty of Commerce, Catering and Tourism (BGE KVIK) Hospitality has an electronic eye, an electronic nose and several types of eye cameras. In his department’s newly designed Sensory Laboratory and handed over on May 23, as well as in the new section of the Research Laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art measuring devices. In the two new units, foodstuffs, meals and drinks can be examined using professional technologies related to neurogastronomy, one of the most intensively developing fields of science today. Sensory tests can be performed in a comfortable and professional environment in the Sensory Laboratory.
