The second wave of Coronavirus has not sped up e-commerce so far
The first wave of the coronavirus in the spring had a decisive effect on online trade: Olcsóbbat.hu measured a 20 percent increase in turnover in March this year and almost 40 percent in April, compared to February. The pandemic sped up online trade throughout the second quarter, producing about 35 percent more traffic in this period than in the same period last year. In July and August, however, this surplus no longer occurred, and the market returned to near pre-coronavirus levels.
