The dm encourages the use of environmentally friendly bags

The dm seeks to reduce the household waste of its customers and encourages them to use their shopping bags more than once.

Shopping bags are a useful helper in everyday life. Fortunately, everybody brings a piece that can be used at any time, because we can be the most environmentally friendly, when we do not buy newer bags every time.

In 2011, dm dumped its free large nylon bag from the stores. As an alternative dm offered a heavy duty plastic bag for the buyers. In January 2018, by considering environmental aspects, the small nylon sponge bags will also disappear from the stores.
