Morrisons supports farmers by introducing “environmentally friendly” white eggs
Morrisons is adding white eggs to its Chuckle Eggs range as part of its “For Farmers” scheme, which will see 6p for every six dozen eggs sold go to farmers. White eggs have the same nutritional value as brown eggs, the only difference being the colour of the shell, which is determined by the breed of hen. White hens need less feed, so they have a lower carbon footprint.
