JYSK opens its 101st Hungarian unit in Körmend
Continuous growth and expansion are of strategic importance to the operation of JYSK’s retail network, and in the 2024/2025 financial year, the company will open its third new Hungarian store in Körmend, after Debrecen and Ózd. On this occasion, a local campaign was launched within the framework of the JYSK Otthont Teremtünk Donation Program, with which the company supported the Esőemberke Foundation.
JYSK celebrates its 20th anniversary in Hungary this September, and on August 27, the chain’s newest Hungarian store opened in Körmend, on Rákóczi út. With the new unit, the company now has 101 stores in our country. The opening of the new store clearly reflects the company’s commitment to continuous development and strengthening its presence in rural areas. In addition to the openings, older stores are also continuously renewed in line with JYSK’s new, sustainable and efficient concept.
“For JYSK, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in Hungary this year, it is of utmost importance to make the products needed to create an affordable yet stylish home easily accessible to as many people as possible. By opening the new store, we are not only expanding our presence in the country, but also getting closer to our customers so that we can better adapt to their needs. We plan to open two more stores by the end of 2025 to ensure even more complete national coverage,”
Sándor Szimeiszter, JYSK Country Director for Hungary, Austria and Greece, said in connection with the store opening.
