With the support of the government, the Rege Confectionery in the Tihany Abbey was renewed
The Rege Confectionery in the Tihany Abbey was renewed in the framework of an investment of about 180 million forints. The government supported the renewal with 140 million forints.
Soltész Miklós, Minister of State of the Prime Minister’s Office, emphasized at the handover ceremony on Thursday that “both our Christianity and the Hungarians” can be maintained through faith and churches. He said: “The confectionery run by the abbey creates a community and shows that the Church is a community that is an integral part of society” on which we can rely, and which lives with us in full naturalness “.
