A legislation may limit the consumption of energy drinks
The government plans to develop a legislation to limit the consumption of energy drinks – Rétvári Bence, Minister of State of the Department of Human Resources, responded to an MP.
Oláh Lajos independent MP asked whether the government has an intention to ban the sale of energy drinks for young people in the Hungarian shops.
Rétvári Bence in his reply informed that in accordance with the Healthy Hungary 2014-2020 health sector strategy the Nutrition Health Policy Program has been prepared.
“Among the measures, the development of a legislation to limit the consumption of energy drinks, by determining the volume units of the energy drinks can also be found.” – Rétvári Bence wrote in his written response. (MTI)
