Kopint- Tárki: GDP may increase by 3.2 percent this year and by 2.2 percent in 2016
The gross domestic product (GDP) can increase by 3.2 percent this year and by 2.2 for the next year – according to the forecast of the Kopint-Tárki Economic Research Institute, published on Thursday.
In 2015, private consumption can be the driving force of the economy, due to the about 3.5 percent increase in gross earnings and due to the slight increase in employment.
The Kopint-Tárki predicts a 3.5 increase in household consumption as well.
The research expects an average annual inflation rate of around zero, but for December the annual inflation rate may exceed 2 percent and in 2016 inflation may accelerate to 2.3 percent. (MTI)
