Kopint-Tárki: GDP will grow with 0.3 percent this year, while inflation rises to 5.5 percent
Kopint-Tárki expects 0.3 percent economic growth in 2012, same as it was previously projected, but increased the inflation forecast to 5.5 percent, compared to the 4.6 percent forecast projected in December – announced Kopint-Tárki on Thursday in Budapest.
When preparing this year's budget the government calculated with a 0.5 percent GDP growth and a 4.2 percent inflation rate.
Kopint-Tárki expects a 1.2 percent fall in private consumption, while a 2.0 percent decrease in community consumption and investments will decline by 5.0 percent this year. Export will increase by 6 percent, import by 4.3 percent in 2012. (MTI)
