Lighter cans for Coca-Cola products
Coca-Cola Hungary reduced the weight of aluminium drink cans by 13 percent. Starting in 2020, the company uses 170 tons less aluminium per year for making cans in Hungary – these are marketed in 19 countries. What is more, Coca-Cola Hungary also utilises 43 tons less pallet shrink wrap. In 2021 the company plans to replace the shrink wrap packaging of 4- and 6-can multipacks with innovative carton packaging.
