Coca-Cola bottles became lighter and slimmer
Coca-Cola Hungary's bottle weight-reduction program recently finished. As a result, an annual 730 tonnes less plastics are used in the production of PET bottles, compared to a year earlier – shows the company's statement.
With this step waste emissions reduces by 8 percent. The raw material saving is equivalent to the weight of an annual 20 million bottles.
The Coca-Cola Hungary spends several hundred million forints for the financing of the recollection of PET bottles and for the support of a separate waste collection.
