Concentrated beer market
According to the analysis of Plato Logic market research company; Due to the company acquisitions, now the four largest brewing group give more than half of the world’s beer producing.
The four largest market participants are the Belgian Anheuser-Busch InBev, the London-listed SABMiller, the Dutch Heineken and the Danish Carlsberg.
In 2009, the AB-InBev produced 350 million hectoliters, SABMiller 250 million hectoliters, Heineken slightly more than 200 million hectoliters, and Carlsberg 125 million hectoliters of beer – reports Privatbankar.hu.
