Farmers’ lives have become more expensive recently
Farmers’ lives have become very expensive in recent times, with prices for feed, energy, transport, pesticides and fertilisers skyrocketing. Sales of the latter more than doubled in the 10th and 12th months of 2021 compared to the volume of sales in the months 7-9 2021. In the first quarter of last year, demand for observed fertiliser was strongest.
