In Békés County, the drought is wreaking havoc on field crops. In the Orosháza and Fábiánsebestyén regions, the corn and sunflower stocks are in a worrying state, there are places where the only way to keep the plants alive is to irrigate them – agrarszektor.hu wrote after MTI.

Békés County is hit by an increasing drought
The situation on the fields in Békés County is worrying. Due to the raging drought in the region, the condition of the herds is getting worse. In the area of Orosháza and Fábiánsebestyén, the sunflower and corn fields can only be kept alive by irrigation. (agrarszektor,hu, MTI)
