There may be a serious rise in vegetable prices
In Spain last week, heavy storms were raging. Agricultural equipment were destroyed at a large area, suggesting that they will not be able to supply Europe with vegetables in the early spring. And this is likely to be reflected in the prices – mfor.hu wrote.
According to reports, thirteen people died in Spain due to torrid rains which have lasted for several days, with others being reported missing. By Friday, a storm called Gloria had struck the Iberian Peninsula with strong winds, heavy rain and snowfall last Sunday. (Király Béla, mfor.hu)
