Energy in cocktails

Energy drink is a relatively new soft drink category that is developing fast, consumption is growing steadily in Hungary too. Innovation directions are the same as in the soft drink and spirit categories: there are natural energy drinks, special fruit flavours and extreme versions such as currywurst. Energy drinks are also used as cocktail ingredients. The websites of energy drink manufacturers also feature exciting cocktail recipes. Los Angeles bartender Steph Russ has even written a book about cocktails made with energy drinks. For his cocktails he not only uses spirits, but also champagne, beer, medical cannabis or Viagra. //
