Spar Austria Commits To Home-Produced Milk
Spar Austria, which operates the Eurospar and Interspar banners in the country, has committed to only offering fresh milk that is sourced from Austria.
Two of these products, S-Budget Frischmilch and Spar Natur pur Bergbauern Bio-Vollmilch have been rated ‘very good’ by the consumer affairs magazine Konsument.
Spar Austria offers wide assortment of dairy SKUs produced in each federal state that has its own dairy.
Furthermore, Interspar has unveiled a number of milk vending machines in Wels and Linz-Wegscheid, cooperating directly with individual farmers.
Using the system, customers can fill milk bottles in-store. Spar said that the measure helps support farmers as well as promoting a sustainable, reusable system.
