Only Hungarian melon will arrive to Lidl on Wednesday
Only Hungarian melons will arrive to Lidl’s warehouses from Wednesday until the end of the domestic melon season – the supermarket chain told MTI on Wednesday.
According to the information, the supermarket chain is favoring Hungarian producers for the fifth year. Last year the company sold 8388 tons of Hungarian melons, 20 percent more than in 2015. 5788 tons were sold in Hungary, and 2600 tons abroad. (MTI)
