Inspection fee would be applied only on animal origin foods
Kardeván Endre, Secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) responsible for food surveillance and agricultural management said: “We do not want to restructure the system itself, but the side of the cash inflows. So we would like to convert the official fee scale,that we are setting up a completely different system, and we would like to introduce an inspection fee.”
According to Kardeván Endre; the problem with the current fee system is that the slaughterhouses pay the whole official fees on meat-based food products – reports Magyar Nemzet Online, after HírTV.
