The Coop Group buys the stores of the multinational companies, that are leaving Hungary.
The acquisitions are expected to be announced within days – told Murányi László, CEO of the Co-op Hungary Zrt. on Monday in Budapest to MTI.
He did not give more informations on the details of the acquisitions, reffering on secrecy. He indicated, however, that the details of the acquisitions will be announced to the public when they will occur.
The Coop Group last year, reached a 510 billion HUF revenue, that is similar to the 2010 and 2009 incomes.
The CEO declared that it is a great result that the company could retain the 500 billion HUF level in recent years, despite the drop in domestic consumption. (MTI)
