Excellent grape harvests predicted for Ópusztaszer
If the vineyards will not hit hard by the frost in the rest of the winter and in early spring, this year’s harvest is expected to be cheerful, and a lot of wine will be made – the vine growers and wine estates of the surrounding mountain villages predicted in the Ópusztaszer National Historical Memorial Park on Sunday.
Kalmár István mountain judge of Mórahalom told that the plants are healthy, vines and buds are beautiful green. The branches are flexible and appropriate to make Kövidinka. If there will be no serious frosts in the forthcoming weeks, the farmers have no reason to worry. (MTI)
