Excellent Hungarian-German agri-relations on the eve of Grüne Woche
Ingrid M. Bernard, the Nutrition, Agriculture and Consumer Protection Attaché of the German Embassy, praised the German-Hungarian agri-relations in relation that the Grüne Woche agricultural and food trade fair will be opened in Berlin next week.
The Agricultural Attaché recalled the good relations serve the high-level bilateral negotiations, and the cooperation is not confined to the area of politics and the economy, but extends to the scientific sphere – to the co-operation between universities and research institutions – as well.
Beside the bilateral relationship, the close cooperation between Germany and Hungary at EU level is also important. In the past months, several joint efforts were made in order to solve the milk crisis.
Hungary exhibits on the Grüne Woche since 1972 and this year, Hungary is the official partner of the international event in Berlin.
