Excellent workplace practices at the Borsodi Brewery
The Borsodi Brewery also won the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum’s Diverse and Fair Workplace award in the “Excellent rating” category. The purpose of the tender, announced for the first time this year, is to recognize the work of Hungarian companies that actively contribute to the creation of an inclusive corporate culture and equal opportunities.
The Borsodi Sörgyár won an award in the excellent rating category at the Diverse and Fair Workplace competition announced for the first time by the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum (HBLF). The initiative was launched by HBLF with the aim of drawing attention to the importance of workplace inclusion and diversity and creating a platform that can contribute to real change in the field of workplace equality.
“Diversity is a very important value, because it enables a better understanding of each other, and an inclusive culture can speed up this process. Our goal is for Borsodi Sörgyár to become the number one choice for our employees, consumers and partners, so we are working on building a more inclusive culture that encourages and supports employee diversity. Such recognition is fantastic feedback that we are on the right track and, through the objectivity of the evaluation criteria, clearly shows the areas where we can still improve”
– said Zsanett Zsadányi-Nagy, the HR Director of the Borsodi Brewery, adding that he sees the employment of part-time workers or colleagues with disabilities as such an area to be developed, for which there is methodology and good practice, but they want to give as many people as possible the opportunity in the areas as well.
