The winners of the “Az Év Szaloncukra 2023” award were selected
This year, the Sugar Salon of the Year competition was organized again as a civic initiative. They tried to invite all small and large domestic manufacturers to the competition. Manufacturers were free to decide whether to participate in the free competition.
In addition to the Sugar Salon of the Year award, producers could also compete in several new categories this year. The Association of Hungarian Confectionery Manufacturers also provided assistance in compiling the new categories. Encouraged by the success of the “competition of flavors” that was a great success in recent years, this year it again became an individual competition category for new flavors, but only one winner per flavor was announced this year as well.
In the judging, in addition to the invited star jury members, the video duo of the I love chocolate channel, member associations of the National Association of Diabetes Associations and the members and managers of the Kispesti Association of Large Families also helped the team. Several of the followers of the Év Szaloncukra Facebook page could be included in the tastings.
