Pálinka is one of the outstanding products of our nation and one of our Hungaricums, which represents world-class quality in both its appearance and internal values, said the State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture responsible for food chain supervision at OMÉK on Friday at the National Pálinka Excellence Program.

In his speech, Erdős Norbert recalled the success of the last 15 years, when pálinka has become an authentic drink of our nation, which also has a place in higher-demand gastronomy. He added that the technological background and prestige of the production of pálinka and pomace pálinka had further increased, and the pálinka brewing capacity had expanded. (MTI)
