Salient optimism at the Germans
According to the GfK market research institute on the basis of the October survey, the GfK consumer confidence index produced the highest value of the last 16 months in Germany.
The confidence index of October increased to 4.3 points from 3.8 points of September. Experts expected 3.9 points for October. The change in earnings expectations index of September increased to 16.0 points from the 8.8 points of August. The economic outlook index rose to 3.4 points from the minus 7.5 points of August – reports Népszabadság Online.
