Price war broke out on fast-food market

The fast-food networks, McDonald's, Burger King, KFC and Subway, are expecting guests with more and more promotional offers in Hungary.

The competition started with the appearance of  low-priced sandwich of Subway. With 99 restaurants in Hungary, the market leader, McDonald's advertises in one of the most expensive newspaper the free daily Metropol which has 700 thousands readers: offers many products for 230 HUF. The big rival Burger King does not want to drop behind: recently extended its well received ‘Scottish menu’. Primarily the smaller bars restaurants, eating houses can be the losers of the war of the fast-food chains. They are also trying to improve the situation with benefits for example: the sandwiches are offered with special prices of drinks – reports Pénzcentrum.
