Carlsberg beer extends its offer with a crafted beer of a small brewery

Carlsberg’s Hungarian company, the Carlsberg Hungary Kft. signed a cooperation agreement for the exclusive distribution of a kraft crafted beer of the Horizont Brewing small-scale company.

The distributor expects to sell 300 to 500 hectoliters of new crafted beer in the next 1-1.5 years. They emphasized that the growing interest towards crafted beers is getting bigger: the beer market in Hungary is 6 million hectoliters, and the handicraft market is about 2 percent of this, which almost doubled last year.
