Hungary’s craft breweries

Craft breweries are the engine of the revival in Hungarian beer culture, it was told at a press conference held by the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) and the Association of Craft Breweries (KSE).

Although craft breweries currently account for only 3-4% of domestic consumption, international examples show potential for growth. The objective of the “beer law” is to ensure the market entry of craft beers, curb the dominance of large brewers and diversify the product selection in the hospitality sector.
