Economic sentiment improved slightly in the EU
Economic sentiment improved slightly in the 28 Member States of the EU in July, as well as in the Euro Zone – the European Commission (EC) said in a statement on Thursday.
In the EU, the economic sentiment indicator (ESI) increased to 106.6 points from 105.5 points in June. In the Euro Zone, the economic sentiment indicator (ESI) increased to 104.0 points from 103.5 points. The sentiment index became better than expected. Market analysts expected 103.3 points ESI for the Euro Zone. (MTI)
