1,212 billion HUF surplus in trade balance

In October 2010- according to the first estimation – the value of export reached 1796 billion HUF (6,519 million euros) and import amounted to 1,687 billion HUF (6,111 million euros) – reports the Central Statistical Office..

Calculated in euro, export increased by 16, while import by 18 percent, compared to October 2009. The foreign trade balance in October 2010 showed 109 billion HUF (408 million euros) of assets, which means a 9 billion HUF (33 million euros) decline of the balance, compared to the same period of the previous year.
