Businesses with smaller revenue may also suffer from the selling ban in case of making a loss
The ban of daily consumer goods sales can affect smaller businesses as well. The ban comes into force when the shop is not able to produce profits, within two consecutive years. The law enters in into force in 2017.
The National Assembly had to re-vote on the amendment of the commercial law adopted on 9 December, because Áder János President sent it back to the parliament for consideration.
The MPs accepted the bill with 120 votes in favor, 31 against and 23 abstain. First, the original 50 billion HUF revenue limit decreased to 15 billion HUF, so the sales sanction can affect more businesses. (MTI)
