Chains are opening small shops in Croatia
The Austrian Spar opens small shops in Croatia during the autumn. In Croatia sales continue to decrease. In June, Croats bought 5.1 percent less than a year earlier.
After the big chain of stores forced out of the corner shops from the cities to smaller towns, the form of retail seems to reborn in Croatia. However the small shops will not be brought back to life by industrial capital, but the big chain of stores – the online edition of Novi list Croatian newspaper writes. (MTI)
