Support for small shops: almost HUF 40 billion in development funds arrived in Zala
Almost HUF 40 billion in development funds have arrived in Zala as part of the Hungarian Village Program (MFP), which has been ongoing since 2019, said Kustánszegen, the government commissioner responsible for the development of modern settlements.
Alpár Gyopáros, learning about the developments of the almost 500 enthusiastic villages in Zala, spoke about how the MFP is a program written by the villages themselves, the managers of small settlements, the leaders of civil organizations and the heads of parishes can adapt their applications to their own needs.
The program, which primarily aims to improve the quality of life in villages, contains several sub-programs, so it is possible to apply for village home building subsidies, the development of state roads, and support for village businesses and small shops. The announcements are primarily aimed at local governments, as they mostly provide the services that improve the conditions of local residents – the government commissioner indicated.
