Equilor’s latest book helps small investors navigate the world of options
The latest member of the educational book series of Equilor Investment Co., Ltd., has been published, the book entitled “Options”. The fourth member of the book series introducing basic financial products has stepped up a level and this time introduces readers to a more complex product group, the world of options, from the basics to advanced examples. The author of the volume entitled “Options” is Szilárd Buró, the head of financial innovation at Equilor, who says that in addition to presenting the operation of this seemingly complicated tool, the book also introduces the reader to how options can and should be used in practice.
Szilárd Buró’s financial educational book entitled “Options” presents in a clear and understandable way the types of options, their application areas, option strategies, and which products can be put into options. The richly illustrated book was prepared with the recommendation of renowned domestic and international experts such as Róbert Barlai, member of the board of directors of MVM, Christoffer Moltke-Leth, director of Global Sales Trading at Saxo Bank, and János Szász, professor at Corvinus University of Budapest, a domestic expert on the options market
The approximately 100-page volume fills a gap because, in addition to the English terms primarily used in the literature, it also contains their Hungarian equivalents. By writing the book “Options”, Szilárd Buró, the author with 25 years of financial experience, undertook to introduce this instrument to investors who have had little or no experience with this now very popular form of investment. In detail, he presents the foundations with which options, which may seem complicated at first, can become investors’ friends in certain market conditions. Equilor Befektetési Zrt. The educational book published by Equilor Befektetési Zrt., which is committed to the development of the domestic capital market and financial awareness for nearly 35 years, is the fourth in a series of books introducing financial fundamentals, after “The Bond”, “The Share”, and “The Foreign Exchange Market”.
