Exploding consumer confidence in China
Consumer confidence in the first quarter in China rose to heights, has not seen since seven years – shows the survey of Nielsen international market research firm.
The consumer confidence index increased by 2 points to 110 points between January and March, which has not seen since 2005 – says the report. The values over 100 points indicate optimism.
The positive development can be primarily explained by the successful government policy; the relative stability of the economic growth, the support to the SMEs, the increase in domestic consumption and in the cooling down of the overheated real estate sector. (MTI)
