China is flooded with fake French wines

Although it is more difficult to counterfeit branded wines, than luxury bags and watches, however, China is flooded by the famous – mostly French – wine brand imitations.

The first victims of the counterfeit is the most famous French wines, especially the specialties produced in the chateaus of the Bordeaux wine region.

The counterfeiters fill again used bottles. The empty bottles are sold online. It is filled with wine, which probably originates from Bordeaux and about the same vintage, even if the quality is not even close to the original – reports MTI.
