China does not need US soy
Because of the customs war, China buys more soybeans from South America than from the USA – Világgazdaság Online wrote.
The 2018-19 marketing year began a few weeks ago, and according to the first data, Chinese exports of US soybeans fell by 97 percent on an annual basis. Instead of 239 million bushels of last year, only 7.4 million bushels were transported to the Asian country. In China, soybeans are used for animal feeding, especially for pigs. (vg.hu, András Beck)
