China-influenced trend reversal in the dairy sector
A trend reversal occurred in the dairy sector: the negative trend of purchasing prices had turned around and milk was purchased from farmers at increasing prices. According to data from the Dairy Board, thanks to the vitalising of the Chinese market the purchasing price per litre grew from HUF 65-66 in the spring increased to nearly HUF 70 by August.
