Chinese imports are pushing the swine prices
Due to China’s growing import demand, the Hungarian pig purchase prices have grown spectacularly recently. The Hungarian livestock farmers can expect favorable market developments over the medium term after the serious crisis of the past period – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
With the increase in pig prices over recent weeks and months, the highest purchase price can be found in Hungary on the continent (with Bulgaria and with the exception of those with negligible production). On the market you can hear about 460 HUF per kilo livestock prices. (Fórián Zoltán, chief agricultural expert, Takarék Agrár Központ, agrarszektor.hu)
