JD.com has announced its European express delivery service, Joyexpress, which will be launched as part of Jingdong Logistics. The move will serve a new European online retail pilot project, Joybuy, which is scheduled to launch in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium and Luxembourg markets in March 2026.

The concept is that TemuSheinCompared to AliExpress, Joybuy primarily focuses on branded products and promises fast, “door-to-door” delivery from its own local warehouses as a competitive advantage. The “engine” of this is Joyexpress: with integrated supply, data-driven operation and a mixed courier fleet (trucks, minibuses, e-bikes) they would support same-day/next-day delivery in major cities in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands and class=”whitespace-normal”>in France. For large household appliances, not only delivery but also installation is mentioned.

Joyexpress will focus on serving Joybuy at launch, but they would later open up to corporate partners as well. Initially, operations are planned from more than 60 European warehouses/locations, which they would further expand; there is no news about a Hungarian launch yet. It is also noteworthy that JD.com, which is among the owners of MediaMarkt, will soon acquire an 85.2% stake in the parent company.
