The large hotel chains are expanding in China
The large hotel chains are increasing their presence in China after the increase in disposable income and the mood for traveling.
In recent months the big hotels have announced their growth plans in China. Hilton this year will increase the number of its hotels in China by 8 new hotels to 50, while in 2010, Hilton had only 4 hotels in the country.
Marriott China also prepares for an explosive expansion in China. The number of its facilities can be grown from the current 70 to 150 or more by 2016, and they would be present in 50 cities in almost all the provinces of the country, instead of the current 16 cities. (Szerencsi Ágnes, MTI)
