Tokaji looking for a market in China

He jointly announced with To-Ming Chen (Chen Deming) Trade Minister the launch of a 25 million euros joint investment, that will support tarde and investments between the EU and China.

About thirty businessmen, producers, company representatives were accompanied to Cioloş. Kiss István, CEO of the Tokaj Trading House considers the geographical indication system of the products as the right direction and also the market appearance under the scope of the program. During the trip he had several occasion to present the Tokaji wine, and he belives that limitless potential can be found in the Chinese market.

According to the expert; high-quality sweet wine has a relatively small proportion in China. Currently about 200 thousand bottles of Tokaji are sold in China annually – writes Világgazdaság Online.
