China blames the U.S.A. for the 62 percent vegetable price increase
The Chinese consumers blame the United States, because food and other consumer good prices recently increased in the country.
According to official datas, in the first ten days of November in 36 cities of China, the average wholesale price of vegetables such as potatoes and cucumbers, were 62.4 percent higher than a year ago. In October, the national consumer price index rose by 4.4 percent on an annual rate, exceeding the official estimations of 3 percent for the whole year – reports Világgazdaság Online, after AFP.
